Websites
I started developing websites back in my college days. The first few websites I created are thankfully long gone. They were developed strictly in HTML and, let’s just say, they were pretty rudimentary and not that pretty to look at. But they laid the foundation to where my website design and development journey has taken me today. Along the way I have developed sites in DotNetNuke, and for the past 15 or so years I’ve worked primarily in WordPress. I have also developed internal company intranets in SharePoint. My main focus is on creating sites that are easy to navigate, generate leads, clearly communicate the purpose of the site, and that are optimized for SEO and load time.
Below are a few websites I’ve developed:
Everest Cold Brew Coffee
I’ve been working with Sun Burst Coffee since 2015 on their monthly newsletter as well as various other projects. This is a website they asked me to make to help them promote their new Natural Coffee Energy Drink.
One of my main goals with any website is to optimize speed and load time. Here’s the GTMetrix score for this website as an example of the optimization effort for this website.
iMPact Business Group – SharePoint Site
When I got to iMPact Business Group in 2017, one of the first things I did was to build out a SharePoint site to be used to sharing documents, and improved team collaboration. A few years later I rebuilt the SharePoint site again from ground up to be able to utilize functionalities in the newest version of SharePoint.
