A big part of my career has been in the music industry. Both as a professional DJ, as well as music industry marketing and promotion. Below are a few of my music industry related projects and achievement from over the years.
Music Promotion: Airus Music Group & Da Buzz
In 2015-2016 I worked for Airus Music Group as a Promotions Manager. They are based out of Utah and worked with Swedish artists wanting to break into the US market. I helped manage various campaigns such as email and music release campaigns. One particular success was the release of “Something About You” by Da Buzz. I created the music video for it, promoted it out to DJ’s, blogs and other music industry professionals. I also worked on promoting it to the clubs and commissioned the club remixes for it. The result was that the song climbed all the way to #5 on the Billboard Club Chart, and the music video has over 50,000 views.
iMPact Business Group
In my role as Marketing Manager with iMPact Business Group; one of my strategic objectives has been to position the company as a thought leader and expert in the industry. Here are a few different videos I’ve created with that goal in mind.
Remix Videos & Mashups
Visual Remixes:
- Craft audio/visual experiences as a DJ. I’ve made 1000+ custom remix videos (See a selection on YouTube. They’ve received 1.5M+ views).
- Remix videos involve re-editing original clips to sync with remixed audio.
Mashup Expertise:
- Create genre-bending mashups like the Adam Lambert vs Queen track (original link viral on Twitter, retweeted by Lambert, featured on Ryan Seacrest’s website, commented on by Brian May).
