I’ve always had a passion for marketing — combining creativity and analytics with a strong understanding of sales and business development. What drives me is seeing a concept turn into a campaign that delivers real results: new leads, customer engagement, and sales.

My journey started during my final semester of college, when I took a job in the media department at Meijer. Just weeks in, I unexpectedly became the Department Manager, leading a $5 million operation and a small team. We exceeded sales expectations, but I realized my path was elsewhere.

That led me to a role as an Account Executive at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers. I got the job, in part, because I kept following up — a trait that translated well into sales. While there:

  • I was ranked #1 in the region three times

  • Won the President’s Club Award

  • Named Salesperson of the Month 12 times

I worked with clients ranging from individuals to enterprise-wide training projects and started building my own targeted email lists — which led to a transition into the marketing team as a Campaign Specialist. In that role:

  • We grew our email list from 0 to 50,000

  • Website traffic increased by 151%

  • Social media audience grew by 400%

I’ve also merged marketing with my creative side. As a part-time DJ with roots in Sweden, I worked remotely for Airus Music Group, promoting Swedish artists entering the U.S. market. One campaign helped an artist hit #5 on the Billboard Club Chart — and I even made the music video, which has since passed 50,000 views.

Since 2017, I’ve been the Marketing Manager at iMPact Business Group, a professional staffing agency. I built our data-driven marketing from the ground up, including:

  • Content creation: blog, webinars, podcast

  • Two website redesigns and internal SharePoint builds

  • Email and inbound marketing generating thousands of leads and marketing-driven placements

Where it started

Originally from Sweden, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Development & Administration, where creativity, innovation, networking, and delivering value were key. These qualities continue to shape my work today.

An article I wrote for “Insajt Magazine” while studying at Mid-Sweden University. The article title translates into “How to Turn Unfaithful Customers Loyal”.

After moving to the USA as an international student, I completed a second Bachelor’s in Marketing and an MBA at Eastern Michigan University. There, I worked as a Marketing Assistant for the on-campus NPR station and the International Students Office — an experience that deepened both my marketing skills and my appreciation for cross-cultural connection.
